Launch Pad

Launch into any of your accounts — create new ones, create a profile, or access invitations.

Overview

The Launch Pad is your starting point for managing accounts in Beeswax. From here you can create new accounts, switch between existing accounts, and access accounts you have been invited to.

Managing Accounts

Each account in Beeswax represents a separate business or organisation. If you work across multiple businesses, the Launch Pad lets you switch between them without logging out.

Creating a New Account

Click Create an Account from the Launch Pad to set up a new business account. This takes you through the setup wizard where you configure your company details, first project, and chart of accounts.

Accessing Invitations

When someone invites you to their Beeswax account, a new account tile appears on your Launch Pad. Click the tile to accept the invitation and access that account.

Note: Each account has its own projects, invoices, expenses, and settings. Your user profile is shared across accounts, but your role and permissions are specific to each account.

No Account? Your Options

If you do not have any active accounts — for example, if you are new to Beeswax, or if an account you were part of has been cancelled — you have several options:

Create a Profile

Click Create Profile to set up a personal Hive profile. This makes you discoverable on the Hive directory as a freelancer, sole trader, or contractor. You do not need a business account for this — you can showcase your skills, set your rates, and receive messages from potential clients.

Create an Account

Click Create an Account to set up a full business account with project management, invoicing, time tracking, and more. You start with a free trial.

See All Options

Click See all options to view all available paths, including browsing the Hive as a client looking for talent.

Lost Access to an Account?

If you were a member of a Beeswax account and that account's subscription has expired or been cancelled, you may find that the account no longer appears on your Launch Pad. This is normal — when an account is cancelled, team members are removed from that account.

Your personal Beeswax user is not affected. You can still:

  • Create a Hive profile to showcase your work as a freelancer
  • Create your own account to start a new business
  • Accept invitations to other Beeswax accounts

Your personal data, login credentials, and any personal Hive profile you have created remain intact regardless of what happens to a business account you were part of.
