Overview
Project Reports give you financial insight into how individual projects are performing. These reports help you understand profitability, track costs against budgets, and improve the accuracy of future quotes.
Available Reports
Project Profit & Loss
The Project P&L provides a financial tracking snapshot for a single project. It shows:
- Total revenue from invoices
- Total costs from expenses and time
- Net profit or loss for the project
Use this report to check whether a project is on track financially or if costs are exceeding revenue.
Products & Services Analysis
The Products & Services Analysis breaks down project financials by individual product or service. It shows:
- Which products and services were used on the project
- Quoted amounts versus actual amounts
- Time quoted versus time spent
This report is particularly valuable for improving future quoting accuracy. By comparing what you quoted against what you actually delivered, you can identify where estimates were too high or too low and adjust accordingly.
Note: Project Reports are available from within each project. Navigate to a project and select the Reports tab to access them.
