Overview
Notes let you attach additional context and information to key records in Beeswax. You can add notes to Projects, Quotes, Invoices, and Expenses to keep important details alongside the records they relate to.
Project Notes
Projects can have multiple notes attached to them. Use project notes to record meeting minutes, client feedback, scope changes, or any other information relevant to the project.
Project notes are visible to all users with access to the project, except those with the Basic role.
Document Notes
Quotes, Invoices, and Expenses each support their own notes. These are specific to the individual document and are useful for recording:
- Internal context about why a quote was structured a certain way
- Notes about invoice payment arrangements
- Details about an expense that may not be obvious from the line items
Note: Notes are internal records — they are not included when you send documents to clients or suppliers.
