Overview
The Money section in Beeswax goes beyond basic invoicing and expense tracking. It provides a complete financial management system built on double-entry accounting, giving you full visibility into the financial health of your business.
Colour Coding
Beeswax uses colour coding throughout the Money section to help you quickly identify the status of financial documents. At a glance, you can tell whether an invoice is paid, overdue, or still in draft — without needing to open it.
Money Search
Money Search gives you advanced filtering capabilities to find any financial document across your account. Search by date range, status, client, project, or amount to quickly locate the records you need.
Key Reports
Beeswax includes the essential financial reports your business needs:
| Report | Description |
|---|---|
| Profit & Loss | Revenue minus expenses over a date range — shows whether your business is making money |
| Tax Report | Summarises tax collected and paid for compliance reporting |
| General Ledger | A detailed record of every transaction posted to every account — typically used by your accountant |
| PAYG | Pay As You Go reporting for Australian businesses |
Note: PAYG reporting is available for Australian businesses only.
Bank Reconciliation
Bank Reconciliation lets you cross-check your Beeswax records against your actual bank statements. Beeswax provides a visual status system so you can see at a glance which transactions have been reconciled and which still need attention.
See the Bank Reconciliation help article for a detailed guide.
